Reservations for the new LiveWire S2 Del Mar electric motorcycle have opened on September 27th with deliveries expected to begin in Spring 2023.
The all-new S2 Del Mar from LiveWire features advanced ARROW architecture with proprietary battery, motor, charging, and control systems that were designed at LiveWire Labs in California. Performance numbers include a targeted output of 80 horsepower (59.6 kW) with a 0-to-60 mph time of 3.1 seconds. To put that in perspective, that’s faster than a Lamborghini Murcielago and a Ferrari F430. Range during city riding is targeted to be at 110 miles.
In addition to the impressive performance figures, the bike is expected to weigh in at 431 pounds. The production model will be equipped with L1 and L2 charging capabilities, over-the-air (cloud) updates, and a 4” TFT LCD display. Enabling both paved and dirt surfaces, the new electric motorcycle will be equipped with custom Dunlop DT1 tires.
The S2 Del Mar will be available in three unique colors; Pacific Gray, Nightfall Blue, and Asphalt Black. The S2 Del Mar will have a starting MSRP of $16,999.
